So far, they work nicely. I burned both Servant and Superchip into single 27C512 EPROM and switched A15 to change between them. They both seem to be menu driven at bootup via the F Keys, but lose most functionality after entering BASIC. I gotta find the docs to see exactly how to use them, but most stuff is pretty self-explanatory. Lots of neat disk utilities between them. I'll put Basic-8 on another chip and try it next. -Jack- Here's my little kludge to put both ROMs on a single chip (27C512). I simply soldered a 5K resistor directly across pins 1 and 28, and also wires from a switch soldered to pins 1 and 13. I bent pin 1 up so that it would not go into the socket and thus could be used with a switch. Quick and dirty. ;-) S1: On = Servant Off= Superchip Note: Pin 1 (A15) is bent so that it does not go into the socket. Resistor and wires for switch are soldered directly to the IC pins. ____________/\/\/\_ 5K Ohm | | | | | | | (1)A15 Vcc(28) o \ S1 -27C512- o | | (13)Vss |________|
