A few weeks ago I was digging around in the house and discovered an Amiga 1200 box.  Hmm, what was in this one?  I looked inside and found an Amiga 1200.  Oh, this was the one given away by Bobbie Sellers of the defunct CWest/AWest club of San Francisco.  I opened up its underside bay.  It had a Blizzard 68060 board running at 50 MHz and 32 megs of Fast RAM!  Whoa, how could it be that I had never investigated this one?
I already have an A1200 desktop with Blizzard '060 and an A1200 with Blizzard '060 in an AmigaKit tower case.  Now another?!?!

O.K., I investigated it, but I didn't get too far.  The hard drive tries to spin up, but then it spins down.  I only get a black screen.  Where is that spare 40GB drive I got from AmigaKit?  :)

O.K., at the October TOGA meeting I'll bring the dead A1200 to the tech there for him to work his repair magic on the machine.

After that October meeting, we looked at the A1200.  Yes, it would need hard drive repair, but Duncan felt confident he could get it going again.  I've decided that Duncan should have the A1200.  What do I need another one for?  :)
