Bill & Ted movies

     In preparation to see the new Bill & Ted Face the Music movie, today I saw Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989) and Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991).  Whoa!  Excellent Adventure was so 1980's!  The clothing, the music, the Mercury Colony Park station wagon, the Go-Go's Jane Wiedlen playing Joan of Arc,  And the 1980's movie teen sensibility!  What a time capsule of the 1980's!
     Bogus Journey also had Bill and Ted watching the Star Trek episode, "Arena", as Captain Kirk talks about the Gorn and then wrestles with the Gorn atop the pointy peak at Vasquez Rocks.  Later in Bogus Journey, Bill and Ted find themselves atop the same peak at Vasquez Rocks.
