Happy end of summer, C= and Ami comrades!
The next meeting of the Southern California Commodore & Amiga Network is Saturday, Sept. 18, from 2 to 5+ p.m. at

  Panera Bread Restaurant
  19662 Nordhoff Street
  Northridge, California
  (818) 407-9400

This is our meeting before the November 6-7 Commodore Los Angeles Super Show ( http://www.portcommodore.com/class ) in Burbank, and we'll be finalizing our big plans for that event.  If you have any ideas to make CLASS better, let us know at the meeting!
The Oct. 16-17 Amiwest Show in Sacramento is only a few weeks away. We'll talk about that, too.
For hardware/software, we'll look at the Dread, the new Doom clone, running off my low-spec Amiga 600.  Also for those musically-inclined, we'll look at the classic Deluxe Music Construction Kit with its comprehensive 120-page manual.  The Ultimate 64 returns; this time we'll try to design a Commodore Los Angeles Super Show logo with CAD-M and have that logo spin around so
that we can film it for a CLASS commercial on Youtube.
I'll be giving away bunch of Amiga commercial software packages (mostly games), courtesy of Brad H..
As always, feel free to bring any other hardware/software that you wish to show off!  And you are strongly recommended to be fully vaccinated before coming to the meeting!

          Writing from New Jersey,
