I was at a flea market I'd never gone to previously.  Saw quite a bit of vintage video games and computers stuffed into the little booth.  I did make one acquisition.  That is an Atari 65XE 8bit computer which I had never owned before. Back in 1989 when my 800XL broke down I had the chance to trade up to a 65XE for $65 but also had the choice of going up to a 130XE for $95 which I did. When the good weather hits the retro dealer will have more gear at the flea market and soon enough the new old 65XE will have a disk drive or two as well.

Note: I forgot to mention earlier but the 65XE has already powered up to see that it work, it does and it has seen some use :D

Do be aware that he had made promises to me in the past which went unfulfilled.  He's either too busy, can't be bothered, or doesn't really know what he has.  Perhaps it's a combination of the three.  Still, that tends to work to our advantage with excellent prices for this stuff, and I consider his flea market booth the best of its kind these days.  It makes a visit to that flea market worthwhile.

I have a technique called Buggification in which I will keep bugging them until they come up with the goods if they promise to but keep forgetting. It does not have to be goonish either just near constant reminders selling me the stuff will net them some money instead of more emails all the time.

DigitalQuirk told me of it as he lives not too far. not just new games and 90's video games but many 80's things including some of our favorite 8bit computers and others 80's favourites such as records, even 80's toys for those with interest in that.

Sweet!  You should take some photos of the place and post them.

I hope to be back there the weekend coming up. I am hoping to find some 8bit disk drives and maybe some carts for both Atari and Commodore I don't yet have. I hope to find an MPS802 as DigitalQuirk is looking for one and he helped me get my other printer working.
