Title: Sharp Android smartphone and getting C= into it
Post by: RobertB on January 21, 2013, 08:44:15 AM
A few months ago, I bought a Sharp Android 2.2 smartphone from Groupon.  It was appealing, because it was an unlocked GSM phone into which I could put the SIM card from my British carrier.  Well, since this was my first smartphone, I started to improve it... better browser, Adobe Reader, utility to control battery drain, four Star Trek apps, an airplane shoot-'em up game, a few more miscellaneous apps, a 32-gig microSD card... and Frodo C64.  Now all I have to do is get a game running on it.  :)
Right now I'm looking for a good SID and MOD player for the phone.

As reported at http://www.commodore.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=9609, the PET game, Nightmare Park, has been ported to Android.  Now all I have to do is install it to my smartphone.

          Looks promising,
