Title: Second day at Notacon/Blockparty
Post by: RobertB on April 19, 2009, 02:13:42 AM
It is now 5 a.m. in the morning, and the awards ceremony is at 11 a.m..  Another short posting before I catch a few hours of sleep.  I woke up at noon, after only having had 3 hours of sleep the night before.  I worked on my amateur video for the competition, and Jim Mazursky was very helpful in diagnosing the various problems with the Commodore 64/VIC-20.  It turns out that the power supplies were not a problem, but the electrical outlets we were using!  Also the new C= video cable I was using had an internal short, and he fixed that.  So now, the C= keyboards are working!  As usual, the many attendees who came through the game room played with the equipment, had plenty of questions about the uIEC, SD2IEC, Megabit 128 ROM adapter, and Behr-Bonz VIC-20 cart which were on display, and reminisced about C=.
The demo presentations started late and finished at nearly 3 in the morning.  I just finished voting and hope my amateur video places well.  :)

                     Truly,

I'm too tired to report on the third day at Notacon/Blockparty.  Tomorrow I will write about it.

Back from Notacon/Blockparty with very little sleep,
