Veteran band, Quarterflash, has released their sixth studio album, "Love is a Road." Released a few months ago, Love is a Road is another step in the development of the band, this time the band exploring "alternative" pop/rock (which is how iTunes lists the CD). Here is a list of the songs:
Can't Help Myself
All Diamonds
I Want You Back
Love is a Road
More
Say What You Want About Love
Adios (The Funeral Song)
Little Miracles (The Songs Rained Down)
Rock On Little Brother
Several of the songs have been played at Quarterflash concerts prior to the release of this CD.
Compared to their last CD, the introspective "Goodbye Uncle Buzz", Love is a Road is lighter and more cheery. Always wanting more songs, I only wish the CD's running time were longer.
You can order Love is a Road from http://cdbaby.com or by check/money order directly from Ross Productions, PO Box 5, Lake Oswego, OR 97034.
Happy New Year!

It's been awhile, but I'll be able to attend a Quarterflash concert on Saturday, August 9, when they are at the Bite of Portland.
Time to catch up with what's going on,
