Title: What to have William Shatner autograph
Post by: RobertB on April 19, 2015, 09:42:40 PM
For this year's William Shatner Weekend, I've been trying to decide what Commodore item William Shatner should autograph.  For weeks I was stuck, not coming up with a worthy item for him to sign.  In the past, he's autographed a datasette, a C64 DTV package, a 1541 drive, a 1581 drive, a Plus/4, a VIC-20, a SX-64, a PET 8296-D keyboard, a PET 2001 keyboard (underside), even a Commodore telephone.  I finally figured it out.  It's the 30th anniversary of the C128.  What would be better than to have him autograph a flat C128!

          That will be next weekend,

Mission accomplished!  Last weekend Bill Shatner autographed the C128!  The conversation went like this --

Bill: (in a kind tone of voice) Another old computer to sign?

Me: Yes, a Commodore 128 computer.

He's been signing my Commodore equipment since 2003, and he's used to it by now.  :)
