I was thinking of bringing the AmigaOne XE G4 again, this time with OS 4.1 Final Edition installed and a newish Radeon 9700 video board in the case. Hopefully, by the time of the meeting, I will have the Enhancer Software Pack installed in the system, too.

Oh-oh, the minimum requirements for the Enhancer Software Pack require a Radeon HD video card, not the Radeon 9700 board. I looked at
http://hdrlab.org.nz/projects/amiga-os-4-projects/radeonhd-driver/radeonhd-card-recommendations-for-amigaos-4-x/
and Hans de Ruiter, who works on the Radeon HD drivers for OS 4.1, recommends a Radeon HD 4350 PCI card for my AmigaOne XE. Fortunately, the card is only about $34.
Looks like the 9700 is coming out,

After re-reading his article, I decided that the 4350 was not good enough. I followed his advice and have ordered a PCI-to-PCIe bridge card and a Sapphire Radeon HD 4650 low-profile card. The 4650 is 4 to 8 times more powerful than the 4350. The bridge card and the 4650 bring the cost up to $93.
Crossing my fingers that the combo will work,

The Radeon 4650 has arrived. I'm still waiting for the bridge card to come in from China.
