Title: Model M: Was there ever a better keyboard?
Post by: Paul on March 07, 2009, 02:06:40 AM
In the world of retro and vintage PC hardware, one piece stands out above the rest: The Model M keyboard.  I do not believe there has ever been made another keyboard superior to the Model M.

Thoughts?

The best thing modern wise is the Das Keyboard.

But the Model M is definitely the best keyboard for long programming sessions.  The tactile response has never been replicated.

Nor has the sturdyness.

I need to replace the one I sold with an XT

I have a Model M keyboard.  However, its color clashes greatly with the black box of the AmigaOne G4.  ;)
