Title: Your dream retro car (or truck)
Post by: Paul on November 01, 2009, 11:12:08 AM
Was there a car in the 80's that really got your blood pumping?  Something you'd love to restore today?  Maybe it's the much-maligned Pontiac Fiero, or maybe it's sleek big brother, the Trans Am.  Perhaps it's the classic Toyota MR-2, or maybe it's Nissan's sporty yet economical Pulsar NX.  Maybe the DeLorean is at the top of your dream car list?  Personally, I've always liked the lines of the first Chrysler Laser.

Yes, a DeLorean would be very good (though I wouldn't have much room to carry C= stuff).  In fact, Retro-Link member, smj, has one!

Theres a few retro cars I'd go for:

Dodge charger or challenger (70 charger preferred)
mid to late 60's mustang.
mid to late 60's vw bug redone as more of a hotrod.

Well those are my top 3, there are many others.

I was thinking about a Mustang for awhile, because my uncles had them in the 1960's and 1970's.  I decided to go for the classic Ford Ranchero, because it was more "practical".  :D
