While digging through boxes, I found a HamText cart for the VIC-20. It seems nearly complete with the HamText cart, a binder of 30 pages of instructions, and the interface cart; the connecting cable which goes from the joystick port to the interface cart is not where it should be, but I think I saw it in another box (another search to do). I tried finding more information on HamText, but no one seems to have as much info as I have found. I'll try to post pictures of the items when I have some time.

Rmv of the Denial VIC-20 forum made his second visit to our club today. When he started talking about his interest in ham radio, I told him about the Hamtext cart and materials I discovered. He wants to see it, and I'll bring it to the January FCUG meeting.

Done! At today's FCUG meeting I showed off the Kantronics Hamtext cart, instruction binder, and outboard transceiver. Rmv said that Kantronics was still in business! He said that he could contact ham radio operators in the area or even Kantronics in order to find out more about the cart, i.e., the wall power supply (which is missing) and the VIC-20-to-transceiver cable (which is also missing). He explained about the various ports on the transceiver, too. At the end of the meeting, he took the Hamtext goods home for further study.
