Title: 1541-III, then SD2IEC, then uIEC/SD, then IDE64, now uIEC/CF with IDE
Post by: RobertB on May 19, 2010, 12:21:01 AM
Thanks to Marco Sicco, I am now the proud second owner of a uIEC with CompactFlash and IDE connectors.  He even included a CF-to-SD card adapter and a 128 meg SD card.  More hardware to show at the next FCUG meeting!

That reminds me I have to finish my CF/IDe uIEC in the case with card & zip drive.  I got an old LaCIE  scsi cd-rom case to mount it all in.  Even got a 4gig card to use it with. Definately a huge amount of storage, far more than I dreamed of when I first owned my 64 in the spring of '84.   Back then an 8050 or SFD would have been the coolest.
