Check out the Commodore computers at the March 22-23 Interim Computer Festival at the Old Rainier Brewery Intraspace, 3100 S. Airport Way, Seattle, Washington, USA!  Not only will Commodores be there but there will also be other various platforms.  For more information, see

Happy National Mario Day, FCUG members and visitors!
The Fresno Commodore User Group has its next meeting from 11 a.m. to
2:30+ p.m., Sunday, March 16, at

  Panera Bread Restaurant
3590 W. Shaw Ave. (corner of W. Shaw Ave. and Marty Ave.)
  Fresno, CA 93711
  (559) 271-0104
  http://www.dickestel.com/meet_loc.htm

We'll talk about the April 12 Los Angeles Maker Faire and especially about the April 26-27 Commodore Los Angeles Super Show.  CLASS is getting so near!  And the CLASS presentations' list keeps growing!  I'll talk about the reopening of Bernardo Studios just in time for filming the CLASS commercial.  :)  Hopefully, v.p. Roger will inform us on his progress about running CP/M from a SD2IEC on the C128.  Also we have a GEOPaint disk to investigate; the user wants his graphics converted to .PNG's.
On the AmigaOne A1222+, we'll look at the new games, Trapped in the Tomb and Evil Dungeon 3.  On the Ultimate 64, we'll look at the new game, Zookeeper.  With the Revision 2025 demoparty coming in mid-April in Germany, we'll also view various, amazing C64 and Amiga demos from Revision 2024.

         Sincerely,
         Robert Bernardo

is Saturday, March 8, from 2 to 5+ p.m. at

  Panera Bread Restaurant
  19662 Nordhoff Street
  Northridge, California

In discussion we'll talk to members who attended the Vintage Computer
Festival SoCal a few weeks ago.  Then we will talk about the April 12
Los Angeles Maker Faire and the April 26-27 Commodore Los Angeles
Super Show.  For CLASS, we will talk about all the exhibits and
presentations for this 40th anniversary of the Commodore 128 and the
Amiga 1000.
In hardware, we'll have the A600GS and the AmigaOne A1222+ with new
games, Tale of Evil, Soko-Ban, Skillgrid, and Castlevania AGA; and
with classic games, Amiga Karate, Arazok's Tomb, and the Art of

platformer, Absolute Zero; the buggy Tracker Hero, the Operation
Steel Rain beta, the well-designed Sky Shapers, and the OS4
application, 3D Converter.  The Ultimate 64 returns with the latest
C64 games, Abysmal Karma - Part 1!, Centipede, Platman MC, Ladybird,
Man Cave, and Mike Mech 2.

We are about 2 months out from the April 26-27 Commodore Los Angeles Super Show in Burbank!  The Burbank VFW has been paid for the use of their room, and now all we have to do is fill the room full of computers.  :)  Please let me know if you want to exhibit your Commodore and/or Amiga computers at CLASS.

Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Commodore 128
          and the Amiga 1000...

Discussion will run the gamut from the forthcoming A1222NG board
(Amiga) from AmigaKit to the new MSXBOOK laptop (non-Amiga) to news
about the Ultimate 64 Elite-II boards and C64OS v1.07.  And I'll give a

Off Topic / Disaster relief for Los Angeles
January 23, 2025, 04:32:24 PM
Due to the ongoing wildfires in the Los Angeles area, I've made donations to the Red Cross https://redcross.org and to World Central Kitchen https://wck.org .  Both organizations are on the ground there, helping out the people whose lives have been upended.  There are also other worthy organizations which are providing aid.

Happy New Year, C= and Ami aficionados!
The Fresno Commodore User Group has its next meeting from 11 a.m. to 2:30+ p.m., Sunday, Jan. 19, at

Panera Bread Restaurant
3590 W. Shaw Ave. (corner of W. Shaw Ave. and Marty Ave.)
Fresno, CA 93711
(559) 271-0104
http://www.dickestel.com/meet_loc.htm

In discussion we'll talk about the current fires affecting Commodore members in the Los Angeles area, the February Vintage Computer Festival SoCal, the April Los Angeles Maker Faire, and especially the April 26-27 Commodore Los Angeles Super Show.
In hardware, we look at the Greaseweazle v4 newly-built into a case and having a 3.5" disk drive and a 5.25" disk drive.  (Greaseweazle is a small, electronics board which permits "versatile floppy drive control over USB. By extracting the raw flux transitions from a drive, any diskette format can be captured..." and thus it can transfer a floppy disk into a disk file and vice versa.)
In software, we have the A600GS and/or the AmigaOne A1222+ with the latest Amiga games, like Revenge of the Grinch, Santas Present Drop 4 – Grunge's Revenge, Ami Robbo 2, Yoomp!, the Rastan demo game, the Vigilante demo game, and Bunnito's Feast. The Ultimate 64 returns with the latest C64 games, like Tank in a Dungeon, Soiled Iron, Santa's Workout 2, Captain Ishtar 2, Toki C64 demo game, the Pretzelves, Twintris Deluxe, Golf Dash Extended, and Schreckenstein 65. The VIC-20 comes in with new programs, like Jumpman Pete, Island Beach Head, Cubelco 24, Christmas Card Greetings 2024, and Pacific Air War.
