Well let's get this section underway  ;D

Took delivery of the Mega-Cart yesterday, only 3 days after it was sent from Canada. Not bad at all.

It's a very professional cartridge that comes in a heavy duty plastic box, similar to VHS tape boxes. It has a high quality printed inlay, and the cartridge itself has a printed label. 10/10 on quality.

The menu system is simplicity itself, allowing you to filter by various categories from publisher to game type. You can also mark your favourites and have them show up on the favourites menu for quick and easy access.

There is also an "Extras" menu with game/music and scene demos available. Excellent stuff.

The unit also serves as a memory expansion unit and comes with a whole selection of utilities from MC Monitors to a music tracker.

It really is a case of plug it in and never remove it.

Delivered price to the UK is $115.95 (approx. £80) which I believe is extremely good value considering the staggering amount of software and utilities you get.

Do your VIC-20 a big favour, and go get one!!

It is a wonderful community project, in which I participated.  You'll find my Sudoku and Towers of Hanoi included.  The community troll thought he'd leave his "mark" by trying to get my ordered canceled, but fortunately my money was green enough.   ;)  I digress.  Not only are there tons of games and utilities, there's also some easter eggs I need to get around to checking out.

My favourite part is exploring the modern contributions of the Vic 20 community today.

I found the demo Robotic Liberation to be amazing, considering it's running on an unexpanded VIC!!
