I use one daily, and it's a fantastic piece of kit. It's used on my C64, Plus/4 & VIC-20.

I saw it demonstrated at last year's CommVEx.  It's very nice, but way over my price range, especially when you consider the U.S./Euro exchange rate.  I have the 1541-iii but don't prefer it, due to its lack of JiffyDOS compatibility (for now).  I have the uIEC/SD, but it lacks easy-to-use bits, like dipswitches (however Jim Brain says he will rectify that).  Right now, my favorite is the SD2IEC with daughterboard.

yeah... i guess if I wasnt so cheap, id buy and try it and see the glory.


but usually i have other things i play with while loading slow games.

Like my PSP or another PC or somethin

But with JiffyDOS, they would not load as slowly.  In fact, some would load very speedily.
