Several weeks ago I saw the movie, Argo, and was pleasantly surprised by it.  It is set in 1979-1980 and tells of how Americans were hiding in the Canadian embassy in Iran during the Revolution and how a fake movie production was set up to get them out of the country.  It was an engrossing film!  Almost documentary in style at times, the film seemed true to what happened.  (And I'm old enough to recall what happened during that time!)  The capper to the film was that the original people (not the actors) of this crisis were given credit at the end of the film, and even President Jimmy Carter had a voiceover at the end!  Talk about authenticity.

Argo is receiving all kinds of accolades and awards right now.  It is well-deserved.
