I got the paperback of this back in august at a used bookstore in Peterborough, same chain as the one in Whitby mall.  Haven't had a chance to read it yet but will soon.  Always liked the original.

Heres a bit of trivia for fans of Firefox: you'll remember the fictitious jet in the book was dubbed MIG-31.  There is a MIG-31 developed since then but as you can guess its nothing like whats described in the novel.  It is in fact an improved MIG-25 with improved avionics (mostly fire control/targeting).  Probably a few other improvements that are less widely known.
