     Bill Kendrick, organizer of last year's Atari Party, is now in the preliminary stages of setting up AP for 2010.  Here is part of what he has to say --

"The date & location of this year's event is still To Be Determined, but I'm starting to plan it.  (I've already determined that I need 2-3 more displays, just to handle my own game systems. :) )

Please let me know if you fall into one or more of the following categories:

* Want to attend
* Want to volunteer (help set up, break down, etc.)
* Want to bring system(s) and/or game(s) and/or other equipment
* Want to sponsor (donate give-aways, help pay for venue, etc.)
* Aren't interested at all, don't bug you about it"

     Bill has set up a mailing lists.  If anyone is interested in receiving news about the Atari Party, sign up at

             http://lists.sonic.net/mailman/listinfo/atariparty-news  (moderated, low-traffic, for announcements-only.)

    If anyone is interested in helping to put the event together, sign up for the volunteer coordination mailing list at

             http://lists.sonic.net/mailman/listinfo/atariparty  (a discussion list, posting permitted)

    Held in Davis, California (near Sacramento), last year's Atari Party was successful with about 100 attendees.
