For this year's CommVEx, when I picked up C= equipment from Al Jackson, the president of the Clark County Commodore Computer Club (of Las Vegas), he had his 1985 Lincoln Town Car parked outside, because his new Mercury Grand Marquis was using the garage now.  He mentioned that the car dealer had offered him some money for a trade, but Al didn't grab at it.  Other neighbors have made rumblings of money for it, too.
He showed me the interior of the car - nice, red leather.  The exterior of the car has pretty good white paint and a white vinyl top - better than on my 1990 Ford Crown Vic.  The engine is relatively new, having been replaced by the dealer.  As a Town Car, it has more seat legroom than my Crown Vic, and the trunk is as large or larger than my Crown Vic's.  It's similar to this one --

What a sweet car!  (But I already have 3 vehicles...)

Heh, I did some more thinking.  If bought and registered in California, Al Jackson's Town Car would have to pass California smog tests.  That would possibly entail changing the engine computer (easy) and the catalytic converters (expensive and more difficult).
In the local photo ads, there is a 1986 Lincoln Town Car being sold for $2,800 from the Fresno Rescue Mission.  Just buying a California car would be less troublesome.
